Up 17-0, I decided to take a Siesta thinking Jameis has this.

Woke up and checked the score. Cut his arse tonight. Roll on with Hill until Carr is back.

The only person who thinks "Jameis" and is able to relax.

You're right. I don't care for Winston. Neither does 31 other NFL teams.

Or fire our coach and OC. At least jameis put us in a position to go up at the end with no run game

What specifically did Winston do to get cut?
What specifically did Winston do to lose the game?

He’s a backup QB.
He didn’t turn the ball over.
He was 10 of 13.
He had two bad passes and one was a bad route by the TE.
He didn’t decide to not run the ball at the end of the game.
He didn’t get a penalty against us that put us in 3rd and long.
He didn’t give up 18 points, including a 2 point conversion, in the last 12 minutes of the game.
He didn’t decide to play prevent/soft defense with an aggressive play caller.
He led us down the field and put us in position to make a game winning field goal which our kicker missed.

What specifically did he do to lose the game?

I'm with you suntiger. I get it that everyone was going to blame him instantly but in his 5 series, we ran the ball 7 times out of 25 plays, 2 of which were taysom at QB. 3 of the 5 drives were not 3 and outs and he lead us to a go ahead FG. But somehow we lost bc of him?

I'm not saying he's good but what did carr do that was any different? 7 points came from a punt return

That's what I was saying, Groupe still should have made that field goal.
Play Hill 80% of plays next week if Carr is out.

Without a question, Carr is better than Winston. He’s just the backup and isn’t to blame for this loss. The OP irrationally hates Winston.

Our coaches started staring at the clock, rather than continuing to play the game .

Everyone on here hates Winston and was going to blame him no matter what happened

Needed Taysom Hill all day.

The defense could have used some semblance of a sustained drive by the offense.

I thought the opposite. I saw Jameis come in and knew we would lose the game.

This wasn’t on Jameis. It was playcalling, Grupe, and the D going flat.

But I am concerned about Winston as the starter next week. We need a HEAVY Taysom presence to win
