What nonsense?

You don't think that we're going to restructure his deal?

Do you think that we have enough years (including void) left to kick that can?

Your usage of the word extend at this time is non sense. I’m over worrying about cap. We can always perpetually keep borrowing cap and to large degrees it’s brilliant.

Why are none of the best teams in the league doing it to our extent, even with massive QB contracts for some of them?

The Chiefs and Eagles are both below the cap.

The Bills are above but we are over the cap by THIRTY SEVEN MILLION more dollars than them.

more time we are stuck w/ his salary that we could use on new players. We aren't keeping him long term and I'm tired of kicking the can.

The face painters do not like these facts and this line of questioning? I just read our cap strategy is “brilliant”. That poster has to be being paid by the Saints to post such nonsense. Ticket renewals are due after all.

Looks like Saints have no intention of switching strategies and still want to win now

God bless this is frustrating. WE CANT WIN NOW. We aren't structured to win now. All we're doing is delaying the inevitable. We will not win anything that matters with Derek Carr at QB, an old defense and an average offense whose best players are also aging.

Someone is gonna have to explain to me how a roster that has broken .500 once in 3 seasons is magically gonna be 3 years older and yet somehow be a title contender.

If TOs help from crying over the same topics day-in, day-out, we need to add some regular TOs

Except the limitations it puts on the team and the fact we have to extend players who should be cut (Cam last year, Carr this year, etc.)

Which is what Loomis did 4 years ago.

This is not OC or even 3.0.

Don't know how old carr is but let's say 35.

If your boss come to you and say , hey man I know you're 35 and most likely this is the last good contract you'll have but can you take one for the multi billion dollar company to help us out?

You would say HELL NO

Of course we are, all the idiots here crowing about our 2027 cap room (when only 12 players are under contract that year mostly rookie deals) are about to see that go negative again once the restructure and free agent spending spree starts.

When I think of the Saints I think of void years and dead cap.
