+1 anybody with any intelligence knows he's rooting for his child and deep down inside he's happy for his old club, c'mon people.

This dude has a national radio and TV show. One person cannot love to hear themselves talk for 5 hours a day without a huge EGO.

not to mention he is a ratings whore. I would have to assume his ratings suck in new orleans so he will bash the saints for two weeks. Also he has been proven wrong this year with Brady and the Steelers. He had the steelers going to the superbowl at midseason. If anything he has been consistently wrong, but he will never gulp his pride.

Colin's comments didn't amount to much, and weren't really bashing the fans. He's just trying to hype his next segment. Much ado about nothing.

It's a really small minority, even on here, who are mad at him FOR THAT. You can't show otherwise.

How could Archie publically state that he wants the colts to lose this game when the colts organization has paid his son Peyton tens of millions of dollars??

That would be a public relations nightmare for the Manning family in Colt Country if Archie were to publically state that he hopes the Colts LOSE to the Saints.

I was just appalled over how bad that last segment was. I usually enjoy Cowherd, but that was just fricking stupid.

I heard that too. Basically called the Saints a badly run, loud mouthed, flash in the pan football team.

While the Colts are the pinnacle of excellence.

The girl on the show asked if he was holding the Saints past against them. His answer was "Yes, i am. Would you date a former heroin addict?"

Until they were lucky enough to draft Peyton, the Colts orginazation was pretty much the epitome of a professional sports franchise disaster for about the prior 15 years.

I actually don't mind Coweherd that much, but he sometimes jumps on and runs with way too many non sequiturs. The Saints history is all but irrelevant as to what the franchise is at the present time.

This. Colin would have rooted for Goliath against David and will ALWAYS defend the bigger market teams while attacking the little guy. It's probably a smart ratings move, but it also makes him a douche.

I don't know why anyone would listen to him when the other option is Dan Patrick, who is smarter and gets much much better interviews anyway.

In the next segment he said that he could not root for the Saints because he puts his money on the smart kids that study all the time like Manning. Then compared the Saints franchise to a girl that used to be a heroin addict saying the past means everything. Which just shows you that he has been rooting against the Saints and he will say anything to back his opinion. The past doesnt mean shite in a one game playoff.

Funny you should mention that. He is particularly horrible with that specific thing.

He's a guy who used to be a weather/traffic or some kind of drive time announcer. Lucked into sports and thrives off of being kind of a grouch and pissing people off. You really can't take him seriously. He's wrong far more often than not.
