I really regret not getting to see him play as a Junior
for real. even playing only 2 seasons, he might still be the best defensive player in LSU history. Another season, or 2, with the same type of influence and he would've been an all-time great across all of the NCAA.

What he was able to do on the field is still almost unbelievable for one player.

Sure he has.

Or at least we won't know about.

Seems like all the guys with weed concerns coming out of college tend to be good in the pros.

How hard was it to understand him? Is he still referring to himself as the best ever?

He also has the fact that he's a Top 3 WR of all time what does Mathieu have? 2 years of college and lost brain cells

Dude are you dumb. This is a comparison to randy moss coming out of college with all of his maturity issues.

Extremely undersized, lacks strength, and a complete headcase.

This thread is for LSU/Saints fans who know nothing about any other players in the draft besides the LSU ones.

"But, but.... didn't you see all the times he stripped the ball against college players?!?!?! HB7!!!"

Actually this thread is about a Hall of Fame Cornerback and Returner making comments on Tyrann Mathieu that has no fricking affiliation with LSU nor the Saints so get your facts straight bitch.

I understand your point but PrimeTime made the comments, not some LSU homer...

And did it ever really matter? Moss had weed problems in college, hardly an NFL factor. Tyrann isn't the type of kid thats going to make it rain at a club. He just smoked a bit.

As are most teenagers...

People take for granted how young he is, he was a defensive Heisman finalist as a teenager and is still not old enough to buy a beer TODAY.

Try to remember yourself at that age and all the dumb shite you did.

Once he matures and with good people around him, there will be nothing stopping him.

Lol. Why are Bama fans butthurt when they spanked LSU for a NC?

Not undersized. 5'9" is fairly common for CBs.

Lacks strength. The Bench Press is completely irrelevant for a Nickle CB or a Punt Returner. Agility drills, jumps (explosion), and ball skills are the only things that matter. There are numerous scouts that have said they don't care a lick for the Press in most positions, let alone CBs.

Headcase. Maybe. He likes weed. People have demons. That will come down to interviews, and I'm not there for that.

I follow the draft closely and I like LSU, but I'm not some massive fan. Saints fans are focusing on him because of his SKILLSET, not because he went to LSU.

The Saints desperately, desperately need a guy that can make plays in the Defensive Backfield. That's what he does.
