Draft a Defensive Guy first! Then play the second round by ear based on receiver they would like. Get the guy Shough wants!

Shough wants Chris Bell. Shouldn’t have to trade up for him.

I’d rather trade up with our 3rd.
There will be good talent at the bottom of the 2nd, very early third.

We should if he's projected closer to 3rd rd than 2nd. If you can get a stud CB/ DE at #42 and trade back in for Bell that would be the most ideal situation besides Bell somehow falling in the 3rd. We won't chance it if its comes to that and he's the target.

I think if they do go D first they are 100% moving to the top of the 2nd to get a WR

Yall realize how old, expensive, and depleted the rest of our roster is, right?
We need all of our picks. There are only 2-3 elite WRs in this draft, and they'll be long gone. Hopefully we've scouted out some high-value mid round WRs to take a swing at.

Chris Bell might work out but he isn't rated as a top 10 receiver. More like 15. Saints could get him in 3rd round if the have a 3rd round pick. Might even be a 4th round pick.
If I remember correctly I think he has a drop the ball issue.

This draft defense at 8, WR or CB at 42, then trade up from 73 to get whichever one you didn't get at 42.
