Eli is better than Teddy and SP won’t let Hill run the offense so we either loss 5-6 games with Teddy cluelessly running the ship or get Eli to manage the games until Brees comes back. I don’t know what they see if Teddy but he hasn’t done anything in a Saints Jersey.

I’m not sure Eli would care about handing back the reins to Brees. I imagine he’s done after this year anyway. He might be more interested in holding the Saints steady to potentially secure a playoff spot for his dads old squad than a meaningless season in Jacksonville or Pittsburgh. That would be a really cool way to end a pretty stellar career.

The Giants are ready to make the change, and would probably do everything they can to please Eli. What a story that would bid. Eli comes home, and saves the Saint season.

Eli plays for pathetic New York Giants without coaching, or continuity. The Saints are loaded. They do not need a Qb to be a huge play maker. They need a qb to distribute the ball. Eli has an above average arm, and has seen it all. I would give Bridgewater one more game and if he stinks up the house he needs to be pulled. I remind you... Bill Parcells played five hundred ball with a 40 year old Vinny Testeverde with a below average Cowboy team. Don’t believe what your eyes tell you watching Eli in Tv. His arm is one of the best in the league. With the Saints he can keep this team in the playoff race. I do not believe he would have a problem turning team over to Brees. If he did, who gives a hoot! I’m not a coach, but I believe Eli is an upgrade to Teddy. I also. believe Taysom is too.

Everyone on here saying Teddy is better than Eli cannot back it up with facts. While Eli is not the best QB in the league, he has the arm and the football IQ to be serviceable for us. At the end of the day, Eli is a super bowl champion who has proven himself on the biggest stage. Teddy hasn’t even proven himself in the preseason against a bunch of backups and practice squad players. I’d rather take a chance on someone like Eli than the guy who is indecisive and looks like he is jumping on a mini trampoline while in the pocket.

Trade for Eli Manning

No.

He's an elitist piece of crap who thinks he's entitled. Lucked into 2 SB rings and hasn't "led" the Giants to anything. I don't think I've ever heard him mention "home" as being N.O. or Louisiana for that matter.

I don't think he deserves to be in the HOF either. Besides, he went to Ole Miss. frick him.

They have (1) healthy receiver. Who is he going to throw to?

For as much as NO generates the Mannings I never see Peyton or Eli showing any love back "home". (Yeah, yeah, they hold their annual Camp in Louisiana but you know what I mean, national publicity.)

Although Cooper is always rocking Saints gear when Fox gives him pregame air time.

LINK to video breakdown of Bills game

Everyone shitting on Eli’s ability as a QB watch this video. The team around him is pure garbage and has been for the past 5 years. He’s been dealing with crap like this with terrible coaching and an awful front office and has never said a foul word about any of them.

Even in his 'prime' when the Giants were competing Eli had 20+ interceptions for three seasons. That's garbage-tier for the modern day NFL. He has always been overrated based on his name and a defense that carried him to Super Bowl titles. He is basically Trent Dilfer with more publicity.

I'm sure he's a great person and a solid leader but that doesn't always translate into NFL success, especially at 38 years old.

Manning would be a clear upgrade over Bridgewater. Trade a 4th round or lower, have Manning accept lower salary with incentives and make it happen. Manning could be a good transition QB for a year or two after Bress retires.

The Giants' team looks awful and I'm thinking Manning's underperformance is more psychological than physical. Just coming to New Orleans could solve a lot of that.

There are synergies here that other teams don't have.
