I said when he was drafted that year he would get a gm fired when there was talk of him going top ten.

Lamar effect? What part of Richardsons college tape or game compares to what Jackson did? The only thing they have in common is they’re black and play qb. Richardson was horrible in college/jackson was electric and won the heisman. Richardson is massive qb with accuracy issues/Jackson is a leaner smaller qb who is the most electric player on the field.

Lamar was taken late because the league questioned if he could play QB in the NFL due to his questionable passing ability and need to use his legs. Arich had passing concerns (accuracy) but was able to improvise with his legs. Teams were afraid of letting potential slip like they did with Lamar.
