we have our big receivers already in Thomas and Perry... and it's being proven that WRs in today's league don't need to be 6'3", 220 lbs... look at the top WR's in the league... you'll notice more 6'0", 190 lbs types

Gotta assume TE J.P. Holtz, OG Tommy Kraemer, P Blake Gillikin, & DE Kyle Phillips are going to be cut shortly.

A couple of WR's are about to get cut as well.

Im not disagreeing with you. Kirklin would bring value at PR/KR.

But if Shaheed is what the coaches have in mind for PR/KR (which I believe), you’d get more value out of Kirkwood for special teams/occasional substitutions to be a blocker on screens on the perimeter.

Kirkwood knows all the receiver positions. It matters to the coaches, and for better or worse he’s Mike Thomas insurance.

Think Kirklin will fill the role of Kawan baker on the PS

as well as either Prentiss or Graham... we either keep Prentiss and go with 3 TEs (Hill, Johnson, Moreau) or go with no true FB and go with 4 TEs and and use 1 or 2 of them as an H-back (H,J,M and Graham)

i believe he's got some sort of injury thing, so we may be putting him on the IR and they are trying to figure that out, but no way is he making the 53
