Is he? He’ll play more than Perry and Kirkwood.

I’d bet on Perry getting more targets this season than Tre’Quan, yeah. Kirkwood is a toss up.

So you’re bitching about the #5 OR #6 WR on our roster.

I’d recommend taking a look around the league.

practice is not more important than how a player actually plays when the lights are brightest...

To be clear, I am not knighting for Yiadom. I just very recently learned this human existed. But the lights aren’t shining that bright in preseason games. Camp practices matter more. There are just so many more reps and situations you can simulate to put players in where you can control who they’re playing with and who they’re going up against.

I do agree with you that there are “gamers” that step up when the lights are on. But I’m also a believer that you have to earn your opportunity to play when the lights are on. In practice. Practice matters. How you practice matters. It just does.

Underhill says nobody was placed on IR. Pisses me off they’re letting jaylon get away because if Werner or Davis goes down we are screwed

He was never leaving. He was one of the vets we sign week 2 so a cheaper contract gets guaranteed instead.

I'm just surprised we didn't also do that with Trequan at this point.

He’s our third best LB and immediate starter if either Davis or Werner goes down

If he was so in demand he wouldn't have been available mid preseason and definitely wouldn't have to settle for the practice squad.

just curious, but why Kirkwood over Kirklin?

seems like Kirklin out played him, and he adds possible return ability to the mix

I think during camp one or both (Carr) talked about chemistry etc... Kirk has had a good camp I'm not sure Kirklin outplayed him. Hoping both make it.

yes, Carr talked VERY highly of Kirkwood in one of the postgames. Said something along the lines of him being the only guy that outworked him, he’d be there before and after him at practice.

Never doubted Kirkwood was going to be on the roster and surprised others did but I guess it’s because I heard that interview
