Pretty sure he still has a hefty cap hit the season after he leaves (2020). Spotrac doesn't show us owing him anything in 2020 and overthecap is down for me, but he definitely has that auto-void season that's always used to spread out cap hits.

After that it is a bit of a rebuild anyway.

We'll probably have a young QB with some growing pains, but we're pretty well off with young talent.

Agreed. Depending on how the QB spot shakes out, we have enough young talent for the bottom to not fall out and start hitting 2-4 wins a year. The defense and O-line are good enough for us to become a defensive and run game oriented team and still contend. Shoot, we weren't that far off from that last year anyway, we just happen to have a HOF QB as well.

No clue but he’s apparently going to visit the Titans and several more teams before making a decision

How could we possibly afford him?

mortgage the franchise, make it less appealing for a potential move to another city!

I'm good with this.

Well we could throw John Forcade back there and be as good as 1/2 the league at the position, so.......

In for day 3. I'll be honest though, Mr.B dying took a lot of wind out of my sails.

I hope Mickey pulls in the big fish for Mr.B and we go on a tear the league has never seen before.

Not saying Suh would think like this, but he signed $114M for 6 years, got at least $78M from guaranteed portion. Leaving the MIA contract at 3yr/$36M remaining. So hopefully, somewhere around there. Possibly be an offer around 4yr/$52M??

Is there really any validity to any of this? Told my bro, who follows shite on Twitter, he was visiting today and he said he has only saw stuff about Titans and Seahawks. Said he sees most sources saying Seattle. Is it a fact that he is visiting?

Well he lives in Seattle and only spoke to Pete Carrol on the phone. Don't know if that would factor into his decision. He seems to be pretty mercenary, so I doubt it. That being said, we can't let that dude leave the building.

Objectively, saints have to be the best choice for him. Competitive salary on a team with the best shot at a SB ring.
