Did you know the New England Patriots trailed the Atlanta Falcons 3-28 in the Superbowl?

The Falcons would in fact go on to blow that 25 point lead...

It was funny at the time, but at this point who cares? The only thing this reminds me of now is that the Falcons made the Super Bowl more recently than the Saints. It’s time to move on.

Bruh just realized the panthers, Falcons, and Bucs have all been to Super Bowls more recently than the saints. This sucks

Imagine holding onto this bullshite knowing every single other team in our division has been to the big game in the last 8 years and one even won it.

How about lets handle our own business.

With the ways we've lost in the playoffs. I can't even make fun of the Falcons anymore.

28-3 is still funny. 28-3 will always be funny because the Failcons choked away a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl.

The joke is on the Saints now IMO

January rolls around and with the most loaded roster in the league, the organization folds like a chair.

Is it as simple as, “If the Falcons just ran the ball” they would have won?

I haven’t re-watched the game since, but that’s what I remember.

I know they had the ball on the Patriots 22 yard line in the fourth and didn’t get any points out of it.

If my trip resulted in a loss, I'd rather not even go.

Panthers and Falcons (especially Falcons) fans have to be sick knowing they had their best team possibly ever and lost the most important game of the year.

Time to move in from this. After the no call, Diggs , Rudolph and Cook, do we really have any room to talk?

Biggest load of crap I have ever heard. Just trying to justify not making it to Super Bowl. Can’t win a Super Bowl unless you get there. I don’t care what has happened in the past and it is sad that we are still trying to make fun of a team from something that happened 4 years ago when we have choked away 4 playoff games in that time frame as well. Who cares I am ready for our team to make it back before I start talking shite again on other teams

We had one of the best qbs to ever play the game for a decade and a half and only made/won one Super Bowl from it. That is kind of sad

I’d much rather be 1-0 than be 0-2

Sad?
frick no!!!

Go sell that shite to buffalo, marino, rodgers and a bunch of other HoF players and fans around the league who wish they had more.

We are 4 time div champs...sad?

1-0 in Super Bowl.

World wide recognized brand.

A team FA's WANT TO GO TO!

You be sad I'm fricking thrilled.

A new chapter begins that's not waiting for it's first winning season but it's 5th consecutive div title

Drops black&gold mic

Your worst enemy suffers an epic, historical embarrassment of a defeat and you want to not continue to remind them of it?

I would rather let it die than be reminded of the Minneapolis miracle
