Definitely too late but hopefully he wants to win
Mccoy
Rankins( week 10 ish)
Onyamatta (week 8 ish, probably the whole damn season you know that bitch arse commissioner.. saints have prepared as such already.’
Malcom Brown
Edwards
Strong 5.. We’re winning the superbowl with those 1st 3 rotating at 3 tech. Too much pressure I love that they are focused on improving that front 4.

I don't expect a suspension for Onyemata (fact is it wasn't high profile enough to hurt the shield), but if he does get one I doubt it's more than 2 games.
As for McCoy, I expect him to go for the big bucks, even if he gives a small discount to better teams.

He will cost too much for what we need.
I'd be interested to see what he gets of they cut him.
They can save 13mil, it's tempting

We could technically do another voidable year contract to spread the cap hit.

Production is not on par with his name/salary. Bucs fans complained that he disappeared for long stretches. Then again the Bucs defense is shite.

Seems like a four gamer from what I remember. Hope your right. Onyemata may just be getting started.

No he’s done let’s get younger

It's not a failed test, and it's BARELY conduct detrimental to the league, which he hasn't been popped for before.
Just because he bought weed doesn't mean he was using it (we all know he was but that's beside the point), and until a test says otherwise they can't prove it.
As for McCoy and spreading the hit, that's beside the point. Of course we can do that, but we have so many guys to pay over the next 3 years we shouldn't use it on an aging DT on a long term deal (and it'd take some shuffling to do a one year deal even with some dummy years).

I think onyamata probably only gets a game or 2.
As far as spreading all these cap hits out and dummy years it eventually catches up.
I don't think Loomis should make the cap hit as low as he can on every single contract.

It makes sense on deals that are 3 or more years to have a very low year one hit. The guarantees aren't going to change so if you can have a small year one base you can usually squeeze the most value out because they normally don't get to the bigger money (they are forced to take a pay cut or get cut) or prove they are worth it by the end (and maybe sign an extension spreading out the hit all over again).

Watch the Rams sign him. Lol

shite yeah, if they release him, the guy has been a thorn in the Saints side for years. He is a disruptive force that I still think has some juice left in his tank.

Not high profile? he ordered weed via phone from NY. Had it shipped to his apt. EA made a controlled delivery and arrested him when he received package.Criminal charges alone may keep him out.

Was it all over espn? Was it on national news?
The nfl gives a frick less about the shite you said. It's about public perception and that registered a tiny blip.
Also from what has been said he basically got a ticket (citation). No criminal case is being brought against him.

No the guarantees aren't going to change but the cap hit is and that's all that matters.
I just think they do it too much and the years where they actually have money, they do it anyway
