Ayo was the dude that had like 300 yards on Hunter in college. He's a fast, physical WR that has not had drop issues, character issues and concussion issues. He also technically has a number 1 pick QB to learn with and develop with. Ayo's arrow is 100% pointing higher than a Olave, Shaheed, or Cooks.

In college??
He was a 4th round pick I can say that about a lot of players

And Olave was a top 12 pick
Means absolutely nothing
Kyle Pitts was drafted before Ja'marr
Ruggs was drafted before Justin Jefferson and Ceedee
Where the hell was Puka Nacua drafted?
Amon Ra St Brown?

Except olave has proven to be a low end wr1 in this league. Ayo is barely a #2 on a good team.

Olave is was a low end WR 1, 2 years ago
He's a low end WR 2 and fading quickly
I rather the bigger frame WR, no concussions, better hands, etc
Also going to be making a hell of a lot less money

So you rather a big body unable to get open, just like keon Coleman.
I actually like ayo, but even in this moment olave is the better receiver even with his flaws and there's a lot of them.

Ayo runs a 4.4 and Coleman runs a 4.6
I think it's too early to tell if Ayo can't get open yet. I bet he'd be doing great with Josh Allen slinging him the rock off of James Cook play action instead of Ward freestyling and heaving prayers.
I'll say this. I would've preferred Ayo in the 3rd over the specialty DT we drafted who is currently injured. I'd prefer him to paying Cooks 8 million as well. Or trading the 1st pick in the 4th Rd for Vele.

Time to bump this thread.
The WR (Shaheed) has to get past the 1st down marker on 3rd down.
