Him getting hurt and having to watch someone else run the team was probably the best thing to happen to him

I said when he got hurt that it was the best thing that could happen to the saints. I got hammered on here but after seeing his arm decline towards the end of last year and seeing how fresh he looks this year I believe that the injury helped him.

I agree Brees is a beast and the offense would be worse without him, but there has been decline in his game. He can't make deep passes anymore. That is just reality.
