The Shaheed almost TD in the back of the end zone

On the terrible Carr overthrow in the 1Q, we only got one look at this particular replay angle (sorry no link) and it was with Michaels and Herbstreit talking over it, but I swear that on one slow motion view it looked like Shaheed tapped his foot down once, then tapped the same foot down again ever so briefly. He made the tremendous leaping catch and in the process of contorting his body to try to get the second foot down, he either got the same foot (left one, I think) down two times or came darn close.
By the time they showed that replay, Tiny Ginger was already lined up for the chip shot, the Saints had already decided not to challenge, and the Fg had to be snapped.
Just curious if anybody else saw what I saw or if Shaheed brought it up in post game?

Yah that was the question I meant to ask - I would assume that tapping the same foot twice would make it a good catch but I’m not 100% sure.

Your memory is fading my man, may want to get that checked
Went to my DVR on YT. It was 2nd down on that throw, and the next play was incomplete to MT.
Watching the play, he just missed getting the 2nd tap, but wouldn't have mattered because he put his hand down before his foot hit the ground a 2nd time.
That was one of those where Carr should have put something behind it, but floated it while moving forward and the momentum took it too deep. Also looked like he had Shaheed open earlier, but was working his progressions on the other side.

He was so incredibly wide open for like 2-3 seconds when Carr saw him it was too late

has to be 2 feet, left and right, a double tap of the same foot doesnt count as 2, or one knee/buttock equals 2 feet
not really sure how forearms and elbows get counted

I wish the rules were uniform - in college that’s a TD and #1 on SportsCenter.

Carr should have thrown the ball on the initial break. He was wide open. But as usual, Carr can’t pull the trigger, hesitated and then made a poor throw.
The guy is trash and had I had hopes that he would find some kind of magic here in the big sleazy

it wasn't a terrible overthrow. He was trying to dump it over the 2 defenders in the area and still keep it catchable. Was a very difficult throw. My issue on that play that no one has mentioned is that on that play twice their was a window to get the ball to shaheed be he did throw it. I started looking for this in the game and have come to the conclusion that the major issue with carr is he is slow on everything. Their are guys get open but in very tight windows but they are spots and he isn't hitting any of them.

this ^^^^^^^^
carr has issues, but not as bad as the squirrels here want to make it.
he hesitates and is late on his throws, mainly because he is scared to throw a pick, but that means he wont throw in narrow tight windows, and thats all we can manage to get so we go 3 and out and punt.
replace the coaching staff and put in a set of plays that we can run successfully, and we are a playoff team
