Trust me….I’m more than happy with us using this Carr money to invest in young players in the trenches.
Our offense was starting to develop a bit of chemistry later in the season.

Because it was the first season in years Dalton played significant time lol.
And we played conservative as hell.
I get it's popular to hate on Carmichael, but none of this is true.
Dalton attempted 378 passes last year. He attempted 333 with Dallas and 236 with Chicago. His yards per attempt last year was 7.6, his yards per attempt with Dallas was 6.5 and 6.4 with Chicago. He played more, attempted more passes down field, but had the best completion rate of his career and saw a dip in his interception percentage. Oh and his sack rate dropped as well.
If Carr can take the step Dalton did last year, this team could be pretty good next year.

Then he goes on to have a top 10 qb rating this year with two rookies as his best receiver and two tight ends that were a converted qb and receiver in college.
It's the most overrated top 10 rating ever. How many qbs with a top 10 qb rating lead their team to 18ppg and get shutout during the season?
Dalton never won you game and rarely lost you one. He was the definition of mediocre.

Blown leads in 2022:
20-0 vs. AZ at half - 29-23 final
20-10 vs. KC at half - 30-29 final
20-10 vs. Jax at half - 27-20 final
13-3 vs. LAR at half - 17-16 final
10-3 vs. PIT at half - 13-10 final
Kind of hard to blame a QB on multiple double digit blown leads. Defense ranked 29th in pass defense, 19th in rush defense, 26th in forced TOs. From what I've heard from Raider fans, 2nd half playcalling was abysmal in every one of those blown leads.
None of this is saying he's a great QB, just that there's more to the Raiders record last year than a QB problem.

I’m told was poor coaching and bad playcalling.
I’m just happy the Saints don’t have that same problem, right?

IKR. Those excuses crack me up.

You just still butt hurt your boy Winston stayed glued to the bench the whole year. And he has never finished that high in rating his entire career, and that was with studs at receiver.

Thanks for not answering my question and deflecting like a bum
