The pre-season approach

Of not playing the supposedly first team players on offense and defense in any of the 3 preseason games seems to not be the approach to take. 1st half was like these guys were playing a preseason game in my opinion.

The first two weeks are the new preseason. You really don’t know what you have until week 4. Just hope to win a game or two in the first few weeks

Absolutely should have played the starters at least one series. Took Shough 3 quarters to get in some rhythm, if you even call it that

Moore tried to defend not playing by saying the defense didn’t play in the preseason but to me thats not the same thing. The offense relies more on timing and that was completely off the first half.

No, pre-season is pre-aseson. The first two games actually count.
You have to BALANCE minimizing injury with being prepared. Not playing before games that count is not balance.

Yeah we decided to make our preseason the first half if an actual season game
