The guy sought out the Falcons...

He asked them to find a deal. Now he's stalling to give them time to figure out how to move Ryan.
Let it go. He's just not that into us.
Find me a QB that hates Atlanta

Sure, but we're letting you go first

That's what it looks like to me.

It’s the stalling I don’t get. It’s not necessary. Agree to figure it out… announce it… then work through the details

The trades are all agreed to.. the problem is the Falcons can't add Watson without figuring out Ryan.... hence Ryan agreeing to put off his bonus til next week and now Watson agreeing to wait too

But there’s no reason not to say it’s Atlanta. Secrecy doesn’t help them make deals

There is. We're the backup plan if Atlanta can't make it work. If Watson says it's Atlanta, Saints move on.

He also traveled to Atlanta to meet with them, even though all other interested teams had to come to Houston to see him. I think it's obvious by now, he wants to be a Falcon.
But here's the thing. If Atlanta can't dump Ryan and his massive cap hit, which it appears they are having trouble doing, he's ours anyway.

Matt Ryan says hi

What if we looking at this wrong and he is going to heel turn Atlanta after they destroy themselves trying to get him. Like maybe they trade or release Ryan then he signs with the saints. Like it was an elaborate ploy by Deshaun and Loomis to weaken the division all along. Watson reached out to Atlanta solely to destroy them before signing with the saints

Jesus y’all come up with some stupid theories.

Nobody is taking Matt Ryan from Atlanta.
And Deshaun will waste the next 3-4 years of his career in Atlanta with no surrounding cast around him.
If he can’t make the smart decision, frick him and let Atlanta wallow in mediocrity while we add a different QB that will help his compete for the division for the next 3-4.

Not true.
For 2022, the Falcons are cash strapped.
2023 though, all their bills will be paid and they can do some serious damage in luring big time playmakers.

You still don't know how those players will work out. You can spend all you want; it doesn't guarantee wins. The Saints have the players in place and there's evidence of how the team plays together. There's no guarantee DW takes the Saints to the SB, but I think it's fair to say the Saints have a SB caliber team right now with DW. I get wanting to play for your home team, but the Falcons have a lot of work in front of them. If he chooses them, I hope the Saints make him regret it twice a year for the next 10 years, and I think they will.

Isn't he from Georgia? I don't fault the man for trying to go back home and rooting for that team. It's the reason he would even consider waiving his no trade clause for that shite show in Atlanta.
