"He knows Sean Payton, he knows the Superdome, he can be the difference maker".

Hear more from baked ziti Mike Lombardi and young Tate Frazier in today's "GM Street" podcast, available now on the Ringer podcast network.

If he’s going to roll out Kroger, then what about the man, the myth, the legend... Bill “F’n” Johnson.

He got his nickname because whenever his DL would underperform I would yell that at my tv.

Did Kromer ever coach for Belicheck or Parcels? If he did, I'm sure Lombardi mentioned it.

"Listen here, Tate Frasier. The Rams are going to win this game because Belicheck, in all his wisdom, showed McVay how to beat the saints in week 2 of the 2017 season."

He won’t be the difference but he’s got the Rams OL playing really good right now. We’re gonna have to play well up front defensively. Really well

It's a good point. My favourite thing is how he always calls "Tate Frazier" by his first and last name. It's a good schtick that is up there with my "mate" thing.

What does knowing the Superdome have to do with anything? That is an ignorant statement.

Debatable at best. Lombardi is highly opinionated, and his track record as a GM doesn't exactly support his hubris.

That's personally why I like it so much. Hes kind of like the Trump of NFL personnel and front offices. Completely bombastic and full of it - great entertainment.

He was so hard on Jason Garrett for 2 years and then once the Cowboys start winning hes instantly Garrett's biggest fan and picked Dallas over the Rams

Didn't he get into some trouble a while back for beating up someone like a kid or his wife?

I enjoy him as an analyst a lot because of his style. It's entertaining. But he's also wrong a lot on his predictions.

that sounds like some shite he would say.

he did pick us to win when we played them earlier this year.

he mentioned an awesome redzone stat that favored us but i don't know if the stat has held up the rest of the season.
