And DBs run into each other and give up a 60+ yard gain to Goedert on 3rd and 16 with 1 minute left in the game while up 5

And we gave them Baun and the draft pick to draft Jalen Carter

Hopefully stealing Moore reverses the voodoo back in our direction

And the Falcons beat them in Philly.

Games in September mean nothing.

Except when they do. If Grupe makes the short field goal against the Packers in September 2023 the Saints and Carr are in the playoffs and Baker and the boys sit home.

We were down McCoy for most of the game IIRC. The wheels fell off after that

They mean the same record wise as any other game. I mean the manner in which you’re playing doesn’t mean much in September. A bad Falcons team and bad Saints team either beat or hung with the Eagles in September. Neither team could touch them today.

Actually we weren’t full strength. Our interior line was out. It’s why Jalen Carter wrecked Carr. Was getting pressure every snap.

They lost to Tampa the week after the Saints game and were 2-2 going into the bye. They changed things up, focused on the run game and are 15-1 since and the 1 loss was vs Washington when Hurts was knocked out in the 1Q

Well that and because Carr still has pretty shitty pocket awareness a dozen years into his career.

That Eagles team isn't the same one playing the last 2 months.

Nick Siranni was on the hot seat for most of the season too. I guess winning the Super Bowl took him off the hot seat for a few years.
