Face guarding isn’t a thing anymore. He doesn’t have to turn around

You don't have to turn around when guarding a receiver. Why are you people so fricking dumb?

By annual, you mean weekly, right?

He ran through the WR there was nothing wrong with that call. He didn't turn his head around.

It's not face guarding when you run through a WR impeding his catch without playing the ball with your head around. If he turned around they wouldn't throw that flag or maybe they would've but it would be the wrong call because he has the right to the ball too.

I agree. But same play happened earlier against Kamara and no flag. Just be consistent

No he didn’t and yes there was.

Irrelevant.

It was a weak call.

He made no contact until after Thielen touched the ball. That’s not PI

Watch it again he ran through the WR. The WR was trying to come back to the ball. He hit him from the side. Nothing wrong with the call. Deal with it. If he didn't get torched on the play he wouldn't be playing desperate now would he?

Why? The exact same thing happened to Kamara on the wheel but with a lot more contact and it was called good defense

This I'll agree with, they won't be consistent with the call but the call on the field was the right one. They should've threw it earlier when Kamara got PI.

Thielen was falling away. He never made an attempt to “come back”.

It’s clear which one of us needs to watch it again.

Was it PI?
Technically, yes.

Has that happened multiple times this game without being called?
Yes.

Would that have been called on another team?
Probably not.

No. It’s not PI unless the defender touches Thielen before Thielen’s hand touches the ball. It just straight up wasn’t PI

He did touch him before the ball got there. Theiland slowed up to go for the ball and Jenkins ran into his side. That’s why I said technically it was PI.

Now it wasn’t much contact. Minimal and we’ve had worse against us this game.
