You’re trying to seem cool and edgy because stats say go for it. I know you’re a big fan of going for 2 as well

But in that case you take the 3 and make it a three possession game. That’s not stats based just common sense. The chances they get 2 onside kicks is just not probable

You have probably a 40%-50% chance of converting that and getting to kneel it. Can't remember the exact distance, but you probably have a 70% chance of kicking the FG and going up by 3 scores, an insurmountable deficit. Field position is also pretty irrelevant here given where the ball was. I can't see how it wasn't an objectively stupid decision by Payton.

You go up by three TB just kneels it to end the games instead of risking people getting hurt trying to overcome three scores in less than one minute...

Would have been an absolute heartbreaker had they gotten that onside and then hit a deep pass.. after dominating like that.

If we kick the easy fg there it’s virtually impossible for them to score three times given the time left. They more than likely kneel or run the clock out.

Yup.

There was no need to try to get that fourth to kneel when a fg simply does the same thing.. the fg ends it. You kick it out the end zone and they come out and run clock.

Why is that dumb frick Arians even trying. The game is fricking over. You get a bull shite TD changes nothing, just increases the risk for injury on both sides. I hate when coaches do this.

Get the onside and make the Hail Mary and you go to overtime.

Lutz just doesn’t miss 35 yard field goals in the Dome to put games away. The probability of Lutz making a short field goal indoors to go up three scores (and Tampa with zero time outs remaining) far exceeded the likelihood of converting a fourth down and three yards. In his career, Lutz has made 48 of 51 field goals from 39 yards or less, which is over 94%.

Made my first game this season. The thing they did with the Saints app was really cool. Hopefully this takes off and more people get involved.

They played music on the dome sound system and the flashlights on all of the phones blinked in time with the music. Hopefully there is a video out there.

Can't find a video. But, it seems like there has to be one out there.
