and the winner takes lead of the NFL South.
With only five games left, the Buccaneers have a tougher schedule with games against the Packers and Jaguars. The falcons have the Panthers, Bears, Colts and Saints.
A win by the falcons this week puts them squarely in the drivers seat to win the division as they hold all the tie breakers over the Saints and have an easier schedule.

Blow it all up- Clean house and draft a QB with 1st round pick. It would Atleast bring some excitement back.

We need to worry about ourselves for now. If we win vs the Panthers and Giants at home in the next 2 weeks to get to 7-7, then we we can revisit playoff possibilities at that time. Get to 7-7, get Lattimore, Shaheed, and Thomas back, the team has some momentum and motivation, and then we can start scoreboard watching. We still get to play the Bucs and Falcons to close the season. Plenty of football left.
The problem is... well yall know the problem. I can see us losing to the Giants in 2 weeks and this will all be moot.

They will win enough games to have it come down to week 18 against the Falcons.
Then they will get blown out at home.

I doubt Thomas comes back this year.
We also play the Rams on the road on a Thursday. We can beat the Panthers and Giants and get back to 7-7, but then we play the Rams and probably fall back to 7-8. Then let’s say we beat the Buccaneers after the mini bye which makes us 8-8 going into the atlanta game.
The falcons will probably beat the Panthers and Bears. Let’s mark the Colts as a loss.

Crazy thing about Atl’s record is a win v TB puts them at 4-0 in the division w games against Car & us left. They very well may end up w 9 wins w 6 of them from NFCS teams
