Prediction: David Thomas will catch the game-winning TD.

no but seriously Peyton's dad is rooting for the Saints. Just one and we will all STFU for at least 10 years.

If Brees and Colston don't execute better and Peyton doesn't call a better game, you can bet the Colts will win by double digits.

Peyton went running home to momma with nearly a full out passing game. Colston reverted back to his dropped passes from the 2006 NFCC game against Chicago, and Brees was never comfortable to make good throws.

Thanks to the Defense, that was hung out to dry, that they made so many turnovers to keep the game close. Also, Shanle should be retaught to fall on the fumble instead of trying to scoop it up.

It still doesn't feel real yet... I guess it just hasn't set in... I keep seeing the videos and hearing the analyst of the super bowl, and I keep catching myself saying "wow they are actually in the d*mn thing!"

I fear that Allen and Edwards are just a warm up to what we'll face with Freeney and Mathis. If the Colts can get pressure while rushing only 3, that Tampa 2 defense will give our offense fits. We will have to utilize the screen pass to slow down their rush and run the ball more than we'd like to. That said, the Screen pass has been lethal for us at times and Pierre Thomas is going to be the best running back on the field.

I say the Saints do what needs to be done and win 27-24.

Saints 20, Colts 38

It will be well fought but our secondary is gonna get shredded by Peyton. But atleast he's one of our own.

You have to admit that the way the Saints story is unfolding this year, it had to be Peyton Manning that the Saints need to beat for the championship. It's like a video game, and Manning is the ultimate boss on the last level. The ultimate test of your abilities, but you only have 1 life left and you can't save your spot. In addition, the Saints have to beat another QB that has strong ties to the area.

As for real life, I think the Saints can make this a very physical game at the line. I feel that if they can create pressure, don't need sacks, our secondary has the ability to keep Garcon, Collie, and CLark from burning them. I feel that our defense is good enough to contain their run game from becoming a factor. Our offense will keep Freeney and the Colts Defense from Brees long enough for him to make throws, just need to make the best of each throw. I feel that Shockey is the key for our offense to get our WR's open enough to cut up Colts defense. I think that both special teams are a wash.

I do feel that the Saints need to play almost flawless to beat Payton and the Colts, but I do not think the Colts are the overwhelming favorite that people are giving them outside of the gulfcoast.

I believe the Saints are more physical than they are given credit for. The Vikings did not hand the ball to the Saints defense each time they turned it over. They took it from them 4 out of 5 times it was lost.
I say Saints when another close one.

Saints 30
Colts 27
