Any one else still mad and not waching the game today. This league has done us wrong too many times. I am still Boycotting the Big One. Womb else is with me?!?!?

Not boycotting. I am just not interested in the game itself. I have had a hard time watching games the past couple of seasons if they have no impact on the Saints.
Going grocery shopping during the game, should be pretty empty at the grocery store.

I’m not mad. And I don’t think there is a Saints bias: the nfl is just putting out an inconsistent subpar product. The officiating across the board is horrendous and the nfl doesnt seem to care at all. The games just aren’t fun to watch anymore. I’ll always watch the Saints and sit in my seats for the home games but there is nothing exciting about a non-saints game to me.
It’s a combination of rule changes, constant personnel changes, incompetent officials, and a general apathetic feel from the players. Most players don’t even seem like they care about the game anymore. It’s no longer a brutal physical competition between hyper driven men. It’s seems to be just another watered down paycheck for guys who quit caring about the actual sport years ago.
The pinnacle of the spirit of competition in the nfl is dead. And I think the movie “The Replacements” really hits this nail on the head in a lot of ways.
One of my favorite scenes is when Hackman is getting the team ready for their first game and he says:

I'm gonna watch this year. I didn't watch last year, and I didn't watch many non Saints game this year (only 2, actually, on thanksgiving), but Mahomes is very fun to watch. Also lot of Tigers playing for the Chiefs tonight. Mathieu should have been a champion in 2011 so I want to see him get a ring.

It'll be background noise this year, maybe. I'm really not excited for it like I normally would be. Last year's boycott broke the mystique.
