Yea, me either, it's most likely because they do not have any repercussions for sucking at their jobs.
I look forward with great disgust to the day when the NFL will be able to sue and fine fans for complain about how bad their refs suck, just like they do to the players and coaches.

It really is getting close to where there should just be flags on the QB. There is just too much arbitrariness with plays like this, and to defend the referees a bit, they have made the game much harder to call.

QB needs to be 2 hand touch. As soon as a defender puts both hands on the QB behind the line, the play is automatically dead and results in a sack. Put them in a jersey covered with caution tape.
