All I know is that Bennett is a winner .Very good at game

I have no idea but to trash him after what he has accomplished is idiotic. Smoe QBs just have IT and he has in
college.
Lots of bums in the NFL had IT in college.

I'm not trashing him but the Saints have already tried to get the undersized, prolific system collegiate QB. Remember Danny Wuerffel. Lets not do that again.
Saints need someone that is more a sure thing. They cant waste draft capital on a small QB.

Yes we should. He’s a winner. He can make plays to keep the chains moving and get TDs in the red zone. That’s what you need from a QB. Your eyes don’t deceive you. He can play.

Young dropped a pass into the bucket during the Sugar Bowl that was a Pro throw.
Might I interest you in a couple of throws Bennett made in a must have TD drive in the playoff with pressure right in his face? Those throws to Bowers and Kearis were absolutely perfect.
I really don't know whether he will do anything in the NFL, but I think a lot of things are assumed about him from the outset because of the size. He doesn't have a cannon arm, but it is far from weak. And the guy is faster than people realize. The LBer he outran for a 12yd first down in the NCG just ran a 4.4 at the combine.
I think his biggest strengths are two things- A)he has been hearing everyone criticizing him for every thing he does, and he can play through the noise without being crippled by it. I mean, he basically matched OSU in a shootout to advance to the NCG, and his head coach spent the postgame telling the world he didn't play well enough. B) even when shite hits the fan in a game, he doesn't panic and can play through it when it counts.
While yes, he has a great team around him, he wasn't a weak link in it. (UGA had a great team because there were no weak links.) His OL often gave him a ton of time, but when they didn't, his athleticism was often the reason he wasn't sacked.
I know the NFL draft is all about potential, but I don't see why his age/experience should be considered a big detriment when he has already worked through a lot of problems younger QBs have, has already learned to drive a pro offense, and knows the pressure of a bright harsh national spotlight. In this era where touching a QB might get you a penalty and QBs stick around til they're forty, I think having a QB that can fit into just about any offense pretty easily and quickly cancels out their being older.
I guess what I am saying is I would not be surprised either way- if he is an absolute bust or takes a team all the way to the Super Bowl.

If he was good enough, he would get drafted and could be in the league a solid 10yrs until he's 35 in today's NFL.
That's kind of the point. He isn't good enough. If he was, he'd have entered the draft at the normal age range of 21-23.

Eh there have been QBs gone that were older than normal and play great in the league. My thing is that if you are gonna be a runt for a QB...you better be fast, you better have a cannon, something. What does Stetson Bennett do well. Thats my question. He isnt fast relative to the NFL defense. His arm aint that strong or fast. He isnt looking over any offensive lines. Only dude this QB could play for is Sean.

He certainly didn't hurt himself today.
Dude looked very good throwing. Especially on that deep route.

I think he measured taller than Bryce Young at the Combine today.
So Bryce Young will be the first pick but Stetson Bennett is too small. Quit listening to so called experts. Bennett can play. And he’s not Ian Book. Book didn’t have a quarterback brain.

Bryce Young is way better than him

yeah, if there at rounds 2-4.

I haven't heard the knock on Bennett being his size, anymore than the knock on Young is his size. What I've heard people knocking Bennett for is his consistency and age (but that doesn't seem to be as big an issue as some are making it out ot be)

If the Saints waste a pick on this dude I’ll go insane. He has no future

What's his size?? He can't be as big as the Alabama QB. Lol Who surprised the hell out of me because I thought he was at least 6'0 feet or 5'11" 1/4 at least. But Bennett threw the ball well the other day! He can really sling it!

Hooker has way more upside than Bennett.
