There is no doubt. And the win bc Roid Boy didn't sit long enough for his attempted decapitation of Tre White. I hope the Bills grow a pair and take that MF out next week

Bull shite. He did not control the ball through the ground. . I don't like the rule. but by the dumb NFL standard that was not a catch.

Dude that was a touchdown, think of brees jumping and reaching the ball over the line and someone knocks it out afterwards. It's a touchdown cuz he had control when it went over the line

I didn’t see a view that actually showed the ball touching the ground.

The NFL rules are so crazy you don't even know when a catch is a catch. But I guess since the league office decides the challenges now they know when a catch is supposed to be a catch.

Im cool though because if we somehow end up in the Superbowl I want to play New England.

Difference is Brees had possession before he crossed the goal line. He never completed the catch according to the NFL rules.

I bet if it's against your team that happens to you're furious and saying it's a catch. Don't downplay the fact that they cheat for the patriots just because it's not your team getting cheated

Today I learned that catching a ball, turning and extending my entire body somehow means I don't have possession of the object in my hands

Today you learned that if you're falling to the ground while catching the ball, nothing else matters other than not letting the ball hit the ground and coming loose at all. Welcome to the rule that has been in place for 5 or 6 years now I think.

Can definitely argue it being a shite rule, but it's cut and dry. If you're going to the ground, hold it completely all the way through or don't let it touch the ground at all. PIT guy failed on both of those.

Am I incorrect in saying that the ball can still move and you can still be considered to maintain possession?

I know they do that for standing up catches while you are heading out of bounds (after getting two feet in).

Horsheshite. That would have been ruled a TD had it been "Pretty Boy" Brady who threw it. frick the cheating-arse Patriots, and that fricking thug, Gronkowski.

Kraft was on the committee with Blank that granted The Notorious R.I.G.’s extension. Just saying.

The thug Gronkowski deserves a career-ending knee-injury. I want to see that pos writhing in agony on the field.

Had it been "Pretty Boy" Brady who threw it, no way it gets overturned on review. Frick the NFL and the Patriots. Hopefully, someone takes out that thug Gronkowski before the playoffs. He deserved a three-game suspension for the thug move he did on Tre White. Hope Gronkowski suffers a season-ending knee injury before the playoffs. He richly deserves it.

The call was correct. The rule sux. Get over it. By no means did the Steelers get screwed like saints. All the holds that were not called on Atlanta?? This game was nothing like that.

Da fuq you talking about mister contrarian?

If you stand by that rule then you are apart of what is the problem with the NFL. Stupid people who stand by other stupid people.

I understand the rule and that play was the perfect example of why it is one of the worse rules in football. Also a reason why people are checking out like never before. Too many stupid are nonsensical rules.

yes... that's the Burt Emmanuel rule (TB WR from the 1999 NFC Championship Game)

but the ball can NOT move when it hits the ground

the ball was clearly moving here
