When Payton was asked about Payton Turner he responded, “Hopefully he’s someone who can help us in this game.”

Sounds like he’s playing and we get to see what this man can do.

I'm not 100% certain Payton Turner is an actual human being

He will play and play well. Kids going to replace the man of glass davenport.
Its a real shame cause Port is a monster when he plays. Cannot believe he was hurt after a half game.
A freaken half game.

I was initially suspicious of Davenport's endurance & effectiveness when I saw him start the game with a massive brace on his left arm. He was a monster until the injury mysteriously occurred.

Since I have no clue about Payton Turner's effectiveness, I'm hoping Kpassagnon is a full go. He was very disruptive against GB, but is now listed as questionable with a calf tweak.

I honestly think Davenport’s playing style is a big part of why he’s always getting hurt. He doesn’t even seem to use much technique, he just rushes his lineman like a fricking bear with little regard for his body and it just cannot hold up at his size. It’s really unfortunate because he’s clearly super talented.

Maybe between Davenport and Turner we will have one defense end available every game. Only took 3 first round picks to make it happen

When asked about Turner's recovery from an injury that knocked him out of training camp practices for a few weeks, Saints coach Sean Payton said, "We're anxious to see his progress, and it's good to have him getting closer to 100%. Hopefully someone that can help us in this game."

Turner got off to a strong start in training camp, particularly as a pass rusher, before his undisclosed injury pushed him to the sidelines. He did not appear in either of the Saints' preseason games and was inactive for Week 1 despite not appearing on the injury report.

Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen said it still "remains to be seen" how well Turner has bounced back from his training camp setback.

"He's anxious to get out on the field and play," Allen said. "It's one of those things. Nothing is ever given to anybody here; everybody's got to earn whatever they get.

"So certainly him missing three weeks of training camp really set him back, but he's working extremely hard to get himself back out there on the field."

We draft a guy in the first round to see the field immediately
Put him in and see what he can do

I'm really excited to watch this kid play.

He is so strong. The way he can bully tackles with his strong hands is going to be interesting to watch.

When Kwon and Davenport get healthy, we should just sit there until the playoffs
