If the coaches think he's better than Tony Jones Jr.

This is surprising but I see he wasn’t really performing well in practice and limited game time.

You're going to start a thread for every player you've heard of that's been cut, aren't you?

I sit in Musso’s section and have been since he was a toddler. He’s actually the only reason I listen on the way home from work. I like his Tigers in the Pros segment.

ETA: I hate Moscone’s though

Dude really knows nothing about the pro game. Maybe college and LSU but he’s an idiot when it comes to the pros.

He knows more than anyone who posts on this board

Michel would be an upgrade over Ingram. Anyone can see that

Ingram played well in limited action this preseason. He looks like he’s more comfortable back in New Orleans and was patient waiting for his hole to hit and then he hit it. His small height but bowling ball body is a good complement to Kamara. I’d take Ingram over Michel and it makes financial sense to just keep Tony Jones as the last RB for the league minimum.

I think Ingram is done.

This has nothing to do with Mascona. I don't really give much weight to his opinion. My guess is someone shared that opinion with him that he thinks is knowledgable.

Michel is one of the worst rbs in the NFL. Hes bad. Hes slow, not shifty, no power and average hands.

Umm no he doesn’t. I still remember when he was bashing mark Ingram one year saying how he would take 20 something running backs on other teams over him. It was hilarious because a few of them he named got cut before the season like demarco Murray, and some weren’t even on a roster. Ingram later ran for 1k that year. This was one off-season when his contract was up. And just one example.

Like I said he’s an idiot when it comes to the professional game. He definitely doesn’t know more than me and probably a good number of posters here.

Scona is an idiot if Michel weren’t a former first rounder that played in the SEC he wouldn’t be championing for him. His career stats tell the story of a guy that’s just not very good….and it’s not like he’s been stuck on shitty teams or anything

Sony had a chance to compete for RB #1, #2 and #3. He didn't make it.

Hard pass.

Depth in the event of a Kamara suspension?

And they could still bring him in. He’s a fine depth piece, though I’m sure he thinks he should be starting. Let’s not pretend he moves the needle though

He is really good running out of the I formation. Follows the FB really well and once in space can really go

Unfortunately for him, nobody in the NFL runs out of the I very often.
