I just noticed that not only did Davis beat Jenkins on the final drive but he got out of bounds which with :30 left. That may have saved them about 10 sec. If he's tackled inbounds they would have kicked the FG

if you watch the replay the way Davis got free was push off to the throat of jenkins

Vernon Davis is huge.... and fast.... the laws of physics, time, and space, would have to be broken for Jenkins to tackle him inbounds, considering that at that moment Jenkins catches up to him, his entire momentum and mass was going in the direction of the out of bounds....

how do you expect Jenkins at 6', 205 lbs to totally stop Davis (over 240 lbs.) and his inertia, and cause him to move in a totally different plane and force him to change direction entirely? again, the laws of physics would have to be totally rewritten for that to happen, so, in essence, it's impossible....

or maybe harper could have made the tackle at the 50 and helped his defense even more.

bitch please....

my posts my not be the consensus, but they are logical....

i don't ascribe to the same train of thought as everyone else when it pertains to LSU and/or the Saints, but i try to view as realistic as i can, and for some of the diehards that don't like to see it from the reality side of things, that gets dismissed as "illogical".....

oh, i know hulk....

i just get a bad rap at times because i do look at things much more critically than some here choose to do.... for some, saying we are playing like shite is blasphemous, no matter what.... but as far as i'm concerned, if we play like shite, i'm going to say we played like shite....

like earlier in the year, when i pointed out that we have a good team, but that the defense was the limiting factor and that we didn't have the defense to win a championship this season, i almost got run off the board, because for some, that wasn't being a "fan", you know, questioning or not having utter disregard for glaring weaknesses on the team..... but hey, look at how it turned out....

no, not at all... and when it comes to the type of predictions i had about this year, i love to be wrong.... i'd be the first to eat crow.... but you could just tell this team didn't have "it"....

the bottom line is that i am a saints fan, and i want them to win, but i'm not going to act like they aren't flawed when they clearly are, and i'm not going to brush off obvious signs of concern just because they are my team.... nor do i think pointing out negative, means you are "less" of a fan.... that's one concept i cannot and will not get on board with....

look, we all have our ways of expressing ourselves, and honestly, tone is not something that can be conveyed via message board, but i don't think just because i'm a saints fan that i have to think they are going to win every game just because that's who i pull for, nor do i think that you have to think they are the best team out there just because they are your team.... i think the Packers are the clear best team this season, but i'd still be rooting for the saints if they were to play the Packers, no matter how inevitable a loss might seem....
