Because of the storm. Honestly frick them, but this would be a slam dunk PR move for a team that's probably not going to see many Ws this year otherwise.

Plus it would be tight to catch a Brady/Mahomes show-down for cheap in the dome, on Primetime no less.

I don't have a problem helping out those affected by Hurricanes. Lord knows we have and will need the same type of help.

We definitely should let them use the Superdome.

Would be a generous gesture.

Ian will be a 4 and looks like Tampa will be on the bad side of it.

So you think it's "dumm" for New Orleans & Louisiana to help people affected by a hurricane???

They'll more likely play it in Miami.

Good idea - would be nice to see an NFL play in the Dome that is going to win more than 1 game this season.
Grab the tax revenues from the concessions while we can because the Dome will be 90% empty by mid-season.

Let them use it. My god, you people are fricking miserable. I would think there would be some compassion based on the shite we’ve been through with these storms.

It would be shitty not to let them use the Dome if they need to.

Some things are bigger than football. Saints fans ought to know that.

No, I think that this thread is stupid and that if we are over here high fiving each other over some BS ‘good PR’ then we are a bunch of pussies

This is sort of like those people who do nice things for other people on social media, but do it in front of a camera so everyone can tell them how awesome they are

If you’re doing it to help, then great, but if you’re doing it just for PR, then you’re just a narcissist like all of the Facebook moms out there

More likely they move the game to KC? Why make two teams travel? Not sure if they could give Tampa an extra home game next year or something. Regardless, the game isn’t being played in Tampa this weekend.

Probably similar to us playing in Jacksonville last year. Dont want to give the other team a home game.

Absolutely should offer it to them. We know how bad these storms can be. At the end of the day, football is just a game. This is real life and anything anyone can do to help should be offered.

Expected to drop before landfall. Should also hit Thursday morning, so first option would be to move the game to Monday night. Option 2 would be Miami as another poster indicated because it reduces travel time. With that said, you know the league/teams are looking into alternatives and the Saints/LA should offer up the dome as an option.
