TBH, I wouldn't mind a loss to the Panthers at the end of the year. Sit the starters. If you go 16-0, the law of averages says you're going to lose eventually. Meaning, no Super Bowl win. frick that.

had jake not gotten hurt they would have probably made it in to the playoffs as a wildcard in 2006. they're completely awful right now. we should drop 50+ on them in a few weeks.

if you want to rewrite history that certainly doesnt help your argument. payton has had trouble against fox. maybe he finally gets the monkey off of his back, but it is no stretch to think that we could lose 1 out of two against them, especially considering we may be resting starters in week 17.

we may lose if we rest our starters but there's no way that the game is even close let aloen a loss vs. them. i don't think you understand how bad they are. they just beat two other shite teams in WASH and TB.

i believe I remember payton saying he was changing his philosophy regarding resting players after watching the momentum nyg gained by playing their starters in the reg season against the pats......maybe someone can find a link

If it is us and the Vikings as the top 2 teams, they both play in domes, and I wouldn't even mind resting starters against Tampa, you never know the reserves very well could beat the Bucs.
