People who judge a draft pick on draft night are retarded.

he will have to be a consistent 1100+ rusher to be worthy of the price

peyton and loomis either don't understand economics or expect ingram to be a pro-bowl RB. quickly.

using a 1st round pick on a RB isn't the only way to get a RB

Again, that's illogical unless you think the RBs you project to be available later are similar to the RB you can get now. Clearly the Saints think Ingram is head and shoulders above the guys who they think will be available in the 2nd.

This was a great pick and a great trade. The Saints are built to win now.

you gave up 3 picks for 1 player.

The one we used on him, and the 2 it took to get that pick

Don't y'all know SFP knows everything about everything. He should be the saints gm, hornets gm, and coach of the us soccer team. Bc he's a lawyer. And he lives with his parents.

I dont. I think SFP is an undiscovered NFL talent evaluator.

How can anyone think the Saints don't need a back?

no one is saying that the Saints dont need a RB...but was it necassary for them to give up next years 1st round and this years 2nd.....you dont think they could have made a move in FA or later in the draft??

Lets not forget, Ivory and Thomas were both undrafted free agents. Reggie Bush was a first rounder.

How did the last Heisman trophy RB we picked in the 1st round turn out? Unable to last a complete season and the most overrated player out of college in years. Could not even carry Gale Sayers socks .......

that's too much for a RB

that's the whole point

you have to be an AD-type to be worth that

Once again, another extremely insightful post.

I'm sure the Saints spent a first rounder on someone they don't think will be a pro bowler.
