The 1977 Bucs had lost 26 straight games and beat the Saints in the Superdome

26

It’ll never be that bad ever again, right?

1999 Saints gave Cleveland Browns their first franchise victory as a new organization..

I can remember certain years losing to less than stellar QB's like Colt Mc Coy, Jamie Martin, Sage Rosenfeld, and names along those lines...

Pretty sure we gave Mariotta, Winston, and RG3 their first career wins as well.

2015 Saints finished 7-9 (3 games from playoffs)
Mariotta - Saints gave him his 2nd win, his first win came against Wisnton, he went 3-9 that year
Winston - Gave Wisnton his first win in his 2nd game of his career, finished 6-10

RG3 - He won in the 1st game of his career, he finished 9-6
If not for their past performances against Rookies, I'd give the Saints a pass here because that was the 2012 season.

His 2nd year, but no matter the DC mobile QBs have always been hell on the Saints.

Cards hadn't scored 30pts all year.

Carolina hadn't won all year.

Burrow hadn't had a 300/3 game til us.

Chase hadn't had a 100/2 game til us.

Jefferson was held to 14 yards then blew up on us.

Tampa Bay hadn't beat us with Brady until now (regular season)

After the game they put up a stat that the Cards hadn't scored 40+ since 2017 (Kingsbury started in 2019).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were Zero and 26 for their first 26 games as a Franchise.

Guess which team they beat to get the franchise's very first NFL victory.

The New Orleans Saints.

I was at that game Browns and Saints game in 1999. The Saints had the lead the whole game up until that hail Mary on the last play.

My stepdad who isn't even a Saints fan didn't even give me a hard time on the way home. He even stopped at this place in Slidell and bought me a white Russian because he saw how dejected I was.
