That’s not fair….He’s only been in the league for 8 seasons. Clearly he just needs more time.

Fwiw I’m old enough to remember the Winston fan boys make the comparison with how Sean was able to develop drew. Now I very well could be wrong….but I don’t think Sean is part of the coaching staff anymore.

But like I said I could be wrong….maybe someone could help correct me.

You made my point for me with the injury but you think it's a counter point because you didn't read what was being said.

The main part of this debate hasn't even really been about Winston. I've said zero about Winston that would logically make you think there's no way to talk to me about Winston.

That's funny since my reply was to you for claiming you knew Winston would be this bad when we signed him despite him not being this bad last season and also admitting he ws better than you thought he'd be

I think Watson turning his nose at us made our decision. I think Saints really thought we had Watson. Caught with our pants down.

I see what you did there!

I said it then and still do now, I would have taken him in a heartbeat but just not for what he wanted in that extension.

Our squad is solid, really just a QB away from a good team.

You’re just a miserable person. You don’t know anything about evaluating football and that’s why everyone is pushing back on you. Take your loss and go back to your padded cell where you belong because you’re legit crazy.

Guys, it's just ridiculous to say Dalton is mediocre and to point out none of us would have thought before the season it would be positive if Dalton was the best QB on our roster by week 4. Nope, all of that is just ridiculous.

Read that again, and you'll see why it's not a positive note.

Dalton was decent today. Dalton will be a mediocre bottom 8 or so QB, I had higher hopes for this season than that to call that positive.

Now you read what I posted again and see why it's clearly still a positive given what we had seen out of Winston. What you expected and what reality is are two different things.

Which is precisely why replacing a terrible QB with a bottom tier QB isn't a positive, especially when you do the same exercise but make it it before the season. If I told you before the season, Winston would be terrible and we'd have to replace him with Dalton, would you argue that's a positive? Nah, you'd argue that the season is fricked. The timing doesn't change that.

It’s not like they are saying they wanna sign Dalton to a 5 year deal. They’re just saying he’s better than Jameis. Which is just the truth.
