The gave away the 2nd round pick in 2024 and the 3rd round pick this year. For what? They traded their 1st round pick next year to pick 16th this year. If they finish 9-8 this year, they would've picked pick ~16th next year. Which means they will have given up a 2nd and 3rd round picks for nothing.
They have go to the Super Bowl this year to make up for the giving away the 2nd and 3rd round picks, and even then it would only be a slight trade advantage.
