I read this is a trade Payton wouldnt go after. Might be a good thing he retired.

People say the Saints won't get anything for Payton, but they absolutely should. Especially considering he walked away with multiple years remaining. That would be a great way to get some of those future picks back.

I've never really understood this logic. Is this actually true? I'd be surprised if CSP wouldn't want to coach D Watson, who is a very accurate thrower.
