I know they shut our running game down in the first game, but I'm assuming that was partly because of our AP experiment and Alvin not being used properly yet.
Do you all think we can score more than 19 this time?

This offense is so night and day different from that game that it might as well be a game last season.

Well, it would have been easier pre-Peat injury.

They’re damn good and I think they’ll give us trouble. But if Drew adjusts accordingly we’ll be fine. It’ll be a defensive battle no doubt.

Really good.

Great pass rushers
Great interior
Fast LBs
Shut down corner
Potential DPOY at safety

Their D is the best in the league

But the Panthers D is pretty damn solid too. We will HAVE to run the ball and keep our defense rested and it will be very important to rush out to a quick 7-0 or 10-0 lead.

Pretty good.

That being said, it will be two totally different teams than the ones that played Week 1.

A notch better than carolina! There front seven is second to none, but beatable threw the air in one on one play. We will have to beat them threw the air like carolina but watch xaivier rhodes, and that strong safety harrison i think!

Call me crazy but I think a low scoring game favors us this time .! We need to be consistent on the ground and keep our defense rested.

The crazy thing is that those 19 points was the most they gave up at home all season. Their D is ridiculously good at home.

This game reminds me a lot of 2013 when we went back to Seattle after getting whipped there earlier in the year.

Seattle and Minny are similar in that they have great home fields and crowd noise and really good defenses. Not sure Minnesota is as good as that Seattle D though.

The biggest differences that I can tell are we have a much better running game than that season and won't be relying on a soft bitch like Graham for our offense.

Also, Wilson and Lynch are way better than Keenum and Murray.

Damn, looking back at that Seattle 2013 game - we really fricked that up. Ingram's fumble...ugh. We totally outgained them and held Wilson in check. Lynch killed us and Graham got 8 fricking yards lol.

Well they are the best D in the league but Carolinas D is pretty close.

We better improve on third down. Gonna have to convert some against this D.

We are definately going to have to establish the run game early to keep them off balance. 40 something yards ain’t going to cut it....get that tandem going because Brees will not have that much time in the pocket...it will take a creative offensive scheme and create some mismatches

I think the only chance this Saints team has against the Vikes and their D is to keep it within 3 pts going into the 4th and try to win on a last possession FG. 13-10 type win. A game that would make Les Miles proud.

Will be hard to do against a top defense in their home stadium.

the biggest change in our offense is the obvious use of Kamara... which is a lot better now than it was in week 1

our O Line will have to play their best game of the season on Sunday

that said... we did move the ball on them in week 1... we just kicked FGs instead of getting TDs

the O/U betting line on the game is 45 I believe... if we can get that to the over... I think we'd be pretty good

also... they've been riding the hot hand of Case Keenum... we faced Sam Bradford week 1... they also can't pick on DeVante Harris this time... they have to battle Marshon Lattimore, Ken Crawley, and the (not-so) Brothers Williams (PJ & Marcus)
