I honestly think we are done. That’s why last year sucked so bad

I mostly agree, but don’t think it’s time to blow the whole thing up. The roster still has a ton of young talent

Not even close. We still have a great nucleus.

Sign Brees and get a #2 in the draft and we have life again.

That and get rid of Lattimore.

If we do any of those things we are guaranteed no SB.

How many titles have the Saints won since 2015?

Weren’t significant. We lose those 2 games and we’re still the 3 seed.

Why does any of that matter?

Saints could have beaten the Falcons.
Saints could have beaten the 49ers.
Saints could have beaten the Vikings at home.

Didn't do any of the above.

we've got a young squad mostly.

but the way we've played in the postseason lately leaves a lot to be desired.

I was very impressed that we were unbeaten without Brees this year.

But I just don't trust our defense to close a game out with a lead. ThaT lack of trust had a foundation laid before Allen was the DC. That loss to the 49ers with that much time left and how long it took them to score was something I still dont get

now the offense isn't even taking advantage of TO's at home in the playoffs. Settling for field goals may have worked in the fricking 80s or 70s but it doesn't jive now.

Brees is still a very good QB but doesn’t have it anymore as far as being clutch.

Coaching staff has yet to learn from their repeated mistakes.

Expecting things to change from outside of the one great run in 2009, is a bit stupid at this point.

With every advantage handed to them, they continue to blow it.

This shouldn’t have been a team that needed to be convinced of the importance of this game and needed focus.

Given their loss to Seattle in 2010, along with the ways they lost the last 3 years, their lack of focus was extremely embarrassing and their refusal to go all out to win it this year or last is disappointing to say the least.

Instead they have put themselves in a horrid spot moving forward with no hardware or meaning to show for it.

They may make the playoffs next year but will not make the nfc title game unless people take pay cuts to allow them to get the personnel they need and I don’t see someone like Brees taking the patchy needed for the team.

Do this and don’t replace him with an equal level talent and I guarantee you’ll regret it as soon as the 1st defensive series.

The only people I'd pay would be Cam Jordan , Lattimore. Thomas. We need better #2-3 receivers

I’d add Demario Davis as well

We have to be like the Broncos with Manning, ridiculous defense, no turnovers on offense, establish a running game and have multiple WRs that can find space in a congested field.

I’m not sure we can get all that in with the salary cap.

Drew shrinks the field of play and limits playcalling and teams are keying in on it. Also he costs a ton.
