fricks the Buccs (out of the playoffs)

fricks the Falcons (lower draft picks, harder 2026 schedule)

Gives Saints better higher draft picks

Gives Saints easier 2026 schedule

is that right?

ETA: also fricks the Rams with lower draft pick from Atlanta

Raheem Morris led team on a winning streak. You can’t fire that type of head coach. Guys a winner

Also fricks the Rams (they have Atlanta’s 1st round pick)

well, it has no effect on the 2025 schedule, but it would make 2026 easier.

The NFC West team is fine either way.

It’s not… these professionals… go win the game… that’s the only thing we can control… Titans had a last place schedule supposedly and ended up having one of the hardest schedules in the league this year

If I’m not mistaking the falcons traded their 1st to the rams, them losing screws them more than them winning

This will be payback for bucs getting Evans the extra yards last game last year

Baker was talking shite too before the game earlier this year calling the Saints dirty.

I want the Saints to lose because of easier schedule next year.

It’s either Chiefs, 49ers/Rams, or Redskins

Or Raiders, Cardinals, Giants

Give me the later any day of the week.

3 of our opponents next season are determined by where we finish in our divisional standings

Considering Tampa won today... we can finish either 3rd or 4th in the NFC South with our result tomorrow

You want to play the 4th place finisher of the other divisions instead of the 3rd... esp if 1 of them is the Kansas City Chiefs

ETA: if Tampa had lost today... a win tomorrow would've given us a 2nd place finish and games against 2nd place finishers in 3 other divisions

Ok. Thanks.

Had no idea that’s how they came up with schedule opponents

Most of our opponents for next year are already set through a set rotation

You can see it in my thread here

But 3 blanks still need to be figured out by divisional standings

It's insane a 3rd place finish this year could put the Chiefs & Rams on our schedule next year

Last place schedule affects only 3 games. But for the Saints next year, I believe it would be Giants, Cardinals and Raiders. Never know how teams can improve (Bears were last place last year) but those 3 look like they will be manageable foes.

The Saints and Bucs both have 7 NFC South division titles.
