With 24+ minutes left, they could easily get 4 TD's. We have shown in this very game an inability to deny the deep ball. We just can't slow down their underneath stuff, and our Safeties are prone to blow an assignment. Offense gotta keep scoring, I don't think a 2 TD lead is safe.

The bend don't break has one advantage, it generally keeps quick scoring from happening. We feel like we'll score on every drive, while they eat up clock and get fewer possessions.

DBs are playing 15 yards off because Williams and the coaches are telling them to. It's also entirely against their nature. They are all man cover/press corners being asked to play zone because we have two safeties with retarded football IQ.

The reason we forced so many turnovers before was because while we blitzed we trusted our corners to play press man coverage. Now we blitz as poorly as a team can and ask them to stay 15 yards off the man.

It's the idea of slow death versus a quick one for a defense.

I'm sorry the defense is undisciplined and can't tackle. Yes we are winning and the offense is great but we still have major issues on D. Detroit sucks and so do the Giants so thst is not a good measuring stick. Better teams will run all over this D.

they haven't been able to stop us either so a 2 TD lead is ok for now, no?

Thats why I said we gotta keep scoring. We were on fire to end the half, but the break might have cooled us off. The Lions offense ended strong and started strong. Let's just hope the Saints offense is still clicking as well.

People have lost their mind! Greg is playing bend don't break D and is hoping the opposing offense self destructs due to the pressure our offense is placing on them. So, far it seems to be working quite well.

I wonder if we can clinch a playoff berth with a win next week. We got wins over NY, Chicago, and if the score stands over Detroit

Wrong on all accounts. Living in nola.

How is it a meltdown just being frustrated the defense can't correct any mistakes they have had all game? they are continuing to screw up things they did in the first half, and things they did last week, and all season?

I am loving seeing the offense continue it's hot streak, best in the league, but it's just disconcerting seeing the defense perform the way it has been with the big picture in mind.
