Matt is one of the smartest QBs in the league. He knew the safety would bite on the short route. He pumped it heaved up knowing that Roddy White would have position to go up and get the ball. They practice that play all the time. Matt has great chemistry with Roddy. That was just how they drew it up. No pun intended.
