I work in south Louisiana, Opelousas, i work with about 1000 people, there is big Dallas following there, i dont know why, but i know this, the Cowboy and Saints fans are pretty much divided along Racial lines, i hope i dont get in trouble or banned for mentioning Race, but its a fact

Here's a plan to really frick up the Cowboy fans around the state:
Contact your legislators and demand a new stadium for the Saints. We want the best for them. We want it to cost $1.3 billion (slightly more than JerryWorld).
That'll piss them off when those assholes are paying for the Saint's new home. Maybe that'll be enough to run their sorry asses out of here.

Black people are bandwagon jumpers, so black people are Cowboys fans, until this year. They're probably Saints fans again.

This is my experience too. I think black people are less likely to feel loyalty to their hometown or homestate since they probably feel persecuted, etc.
They're more likely to care about "name" appeal such as Sean John, Air Jordans, or the Cowboys.
There was a black native New Orleanian at my sales meeting this week and I asked him about the Saints and he said "oh no brother I'm a Cowboys fan", and I just kind of sighed to myself and thought how disappointing it was that this educated young man fell into that stereotype.

I've lived in Shreveport Bossier for over 30 years. The vast majority of FB fans I meet prefer the Saints over Dallas. Local channels opt for the Cowboys because of East Texas viewers...not because there are more Cowboy fans in Shreveport. So, don't whine about Shreveport. Whine about Longview, Tyler, Marshall, etc.

FYI, the only other time that they held a vote, Saints won 85% of the vote. There are more Saints fans in Shreveport than Cowboys fans, despite popular belief.
