now I too have a reason.

So you didn't hate Shreveport because the Cowboys won in a vote 51-49, but now that you've learned that Cowboy fans had to rally fans from other teams to win, you do?

FYI, the only other time that they held a vote, Saints won 85% of the vote. There are more Saints fans in Shreveport than Cowboys fans, despite popular belief.

Congrats on matching. What specialty?

My advice: Enjoy life the next 3 months. Take a long vacation. July 1 everything changes.

That's a chant I never understood. We beat you, therefore, you aren't a good team. Brilliant.
Defending champions don't rush the field. :banghead:

17 total players (not counting those that are free agents) with several players making an impact is not too bad, especially considering that the average NFL career is about 2-4 years.
we did purple out a few years ago, can't remember the opponent...doesn't look that great. at night under the lights its difficult to tell the difference between purple, blue, and black...it just looks like everyone is wearing dark colors. it probably looked even less impressive on TV.
I think I'd rather be original.

cuz anyone that uses the word "thug" or "homeless" is obviously not only white, but also a racist, huh? :rotflmao:
should we start referring to those horrible terms as the "t word" and the "h word" now?

dude, just give it up.

You associate only one particular race with "thugs, gangbangers, and homeless people"? And I'm a racist??? LINK

And, BTW, I love my job. Even though it is a thankless one. Even though I work for a state salary. Even though the state has decided that even though the NOLA indigent and mentally have all moved to places like Shreveport, Monroe, and Alexandria, they have decided to divert even more of the state's mental health funding into NOLA. I don't expect any SoLA elitist to appreciate what we are doing. I just would hope it would be considered before talking about all the "bones" that NOLA has thrown up this way.

Who said anything about race? Well, besides you.

And as far as what they went through, trust me, I know.

Well, I live in Bossier, but I'll play.

There are good number of Cowboys fans here. We are on the Texas border. There are a lot of Texas natives that live and work here. What would you expect? You don't have to live with, them, we do. So why the hell does that bother you?

Thanks for all the "bones" NOLA has thrown us. But over the last 3 years, I believe we've taken in quite a few of your thugs, gangbangers, and homeless people, something that has placed quite a strain on the public healthcare (and public resources in general) in our city, which is my line of work.

And, BTW, I was born in Metaire, and I chose to move here 2 years ago over NOLA.
