Interesting article on a TE for the Phins set to be a FA. Should the Saints go after him? Personally I think he'd be a tremendous addition to the offense with Watson getting older. He's proven he can be a top 5 TE while in Cleveland and was never able to get his feet set in Miami. Him and Brees would be deadly

Misleading title dude.....

But, if he comes cheap on a 1 year deal I'm all for it

I thought they just signed him last year. Was it only a one year deal?

Dude has concussion problems. Risky.

if he's not concussed he's nursing something else, but could be a low risk high reward signing I guess

My head would explode with Cam Jordan & Jordan Cam on the same team.

If it's between signing him and resigning Watson, I'd rather Watson honestly.

Best case: Resign Watson, sign Cameron to a one-year deal, draft a TE, cut Hill

I hoped the Saints would have signed him last year. If he can stay healthy, he would be very productive in CSP's system.

The TE market this offseason looks to be promising in general...plus on the cheap side due to lack of consistent production/or age. Most rookie TE's also do not break out immediately...it takes time to adjust to the NFL game at that position especially. So I like the idea of going hard after TE in the FA market especially since we do not have one on the roster.

1.)Ladarius Green
2.)Jordan Cameron
3.)Coby Fleener
4.)Ben Watson
5.)Dwayne Allen
6.)Vernon Davis
7.)Jermaine Gresham

And then we can resign Graham next offseason for $4m/year

Fleener looks sexy. To win in the NFL you need a good-great TE.

They go hand in hand IMO.

A great, ball controlling offense helps out a defense.

What we had last year was a team that was fricked if the offense was slowed down.

AKA he won't even make it to camp like all the others that had this label.

These kind of players we sign really never work out for us.

Only if he's the second upgrade for the Saints at TE.
In other words if they are looking at upgrading at that position I don't want to just depend on Jordan alone to do it.

Jordan Reed also had "concussion problems". Look at the season he turned in
