what in the hell would this team be like if our defense was average?

drew can make an average d look good by at least going 10-5. teddy can't do that.

You lost yo damn mind baw!?! We've been winning, but our offense has definitely not looked stellar. Brees will change that.

Should the Saints give up on Drew Brees?

sure why not, maybe if we gave another team our 1st round draft pick plus drew they would take him off our hands

We're ranked 19th in the NFL in offense. With Brees we'll be top 3-5. Don't be an idiot. Imagine this defense with a top 5 offense.

This also kills the "system qb" argument

So you want to give up on a hall of famer because our backup did as we planned? Played well when needed.
Drew is owed more respect than that. If he is 100 percent he plays. We can discuss this during the summer.

How about you get toss in the trash can for being stupid? Teddy is good we get it but Drew Brees is the mother fricking HoF QB on the level of Brady, Brett, Warner, Aikman, Montanna, Rodgers right now. Teddy B is great but Brees is just fricking better.

Lol wut? Brees is a record setting HOFer. Romo was not even in the same universe.

The lack of football intelligence on this board is stunning, but not surprising.

Your question should be ( so you don't sound completely clueless) is should the Saints let Drew resume the starting role even though Teddy is undefeated?

To know the answer to this, study the 68 Colts and the 72 Dolphins.

Both teams coached by Don Shula, and both quarterbacked by Earl Morrall, in a substitute role.

Share with the board your findings.

It’s a valid question. It’s always good to go with the hot hand. Brees Ego may be damaged right about now so when he gets back in will he start trying to do too much and start messing with the team flow. At the least I wouldn’t start him this week. I’ll let him get an extra 2 was of rest and be back 100% for the Falcons. Teddy looks to be getting better and better in the offense. Still has a ways to go but You should be able to see the improvement. Good dilemma to have tho
