Wondering if the Saints are ahead going into the 4th Qtr of games this season, if Brees should sit it out? To protect Brees from injury, rest his arm for the postseason run, and to allow Taysom some quality QB playing time with the starting unit since he's the projected starting QB in 2021.

Although I still prefer the Saints inquire as to whether Andrew Luck wants to return to the NFL, and is interested in playing for the Saints and Sean Payton.

The Saints took a chance on signing an injured Pro-Bowl QB named Brees in 2006, and it worked out well for them. Luck will have completely healed by 2021, and may have the itch to return. The Saints would have to work out a trade for his rights from the Colts.

Yes because no teams ever make 4th quarter comebacks

Hey as long as we don't give up the LONG Bomb to Minnesota, or have those cheating zebras helping the other team, we won't have that issue.

You know we literally have no shot at Luck, right?

Even if this were to happen, it's a terrible idea. I dont think i can count how many games the Saints find ways to blow any lead they have within two minutes just to make us sweat a lil bit.

10 pts can be made up in less than 3 minutes of clock time with a score and forced 3&out. You only consider sitting Drew up 21+ with less than 10 minutes left but at that point we would probably just be running the ball and throwing short passes anyways so it's not like Drew is in that much danger

10 points is nothing and apparently our onside coverage is terrible.

A 10 pt lead in the 4th in the NFL means nothing.

I can see that happening, as Hill needs active reps if you believe he's the projected 2021 starter (though he'd be handing off more in that situation).

Unless I'm mistaken, if he comes back it's as a Colt.
