OK it was cute at first but now you're starting to annoy me and over-do it like those Shriners kids commercials.... which I'm sure you could have a starring role in lil buddy

And yet the Saints have just as many wins with Shough taking snaps as they do with Rattler taking snaps.
And no losses.
All of that youth and athleticism in Rattler that the Saints lose with every single time they try…

Known Top-Ranked Quarterbacks by RAS (Since 1987)
The following quarterbacks are explicitly mentioned in the sources with their RAS scores and rankings (where available) or are noted as elite athletic performers, placing them likely in the top 100 out of 1,048 QBs:
1. Cam Newton (2011 Draft): RAS ~10.00, likely #1. Noted as the highest-RAS quarterback ever, with exceptional size (6’5”, 248 lbs), speed (4.59 40-yard dash), and explosiveness (35” vertical, 126” broad jump).
2. Daunte Culpepper (1999 Draft): RAS ~9.99, likely #2. Previously held the top RAS spot before Newton, with elite size (6’4”, 250 lbs) and athleticism (4.52 40-yard dash).
3. Tyler Shough (2025 Draft): RAS 9.70, #32/1,048. Strong size and a 4.63 40-yard dash with a 1.59 10-yard split.
4. Desmond Ridder (2022 Draft): RAS 9.79, likely top 50. Elite metrics include a 4.52 40-yard dash (99th percentile), 36” vertical (96th percentile), and 127” broad jump (99th percentile).
5. Kenny Pickett (2022 Draft): RAS 9.52, likely top 100. Noted for strong athleticism, though less explosive than Ridder.
6. EJ Perry (2022 Draft): RAS 9.43, likely top 100-150. Honorable mention for athletic standouts.
7. Michael Penix Jr. (2024 Draft): RAS in 97th percentile, #26/985 QBs (up to 2024). Likely top 30-40 in the full dataset, with strong speed and explosiveness.
8. Will Howard (2025 Draft): RAS 8.80, #127/1,048. Elite size but less explosive than top-tier QBs.
9. Josh McCown (2002 Draft): Noted as a top backup with a high RAS, likely in the top 100 due to his inclusion in the all-time RAS team. Specific score not provided but estimated ~9.0+.
10. Jaren Hall (2023 Draft): RAS 7.96, likely mid-tier (~400-500/1,048). Highest in the Vikings’ 2023 class but not elite.
11. Clayton Tune (2023 Draft): Noted as an athletic standout for the Cardinals, likely upper-middle tier (~top 200-300). Specific RAS not provided.
12. Tom Brady (2000 Draft): RAS 2.74, #155/212 QBs from 1987-2000. In the full 1,048, likely ~800-900, included for context as a low-RAS outlier.
Estimating the Top 100
Since the sources only provide specific RAS scores and rankings for a handful of quarterbacks, constructing a full top 100 list requires extrapolation based on trends and general RAS distribution:
• Top 10-20 QBs: Likely include other elite athletes from earlier drafts not mentioned in the sources, such as:
• Vince Young (2006 Draft): Known for elite speed (4.48 40-yard dash) and size (6’5”, 229 lbs), likely ~9.8+ RAS, top 10.
• Robert Griffin III (2012 Draft): Exceptional speed (4.41 40-yard dash) and agility, likely ~9.7+ RAS, top 20.
• Jake Locker (2011 Draft): Strong athletic profile (4.59 40-yard dash, 35” vertical), likely ~9.5+ RAS, top 30.
• Colin Kaepernick (2011 Draft): Dual-threat with a 4.53 40-yard dash, likely ~9.5+ RAS, top 50.
• These are inferred from historical Combine data and their reputation as athletic QBs.
• Top 20-50: Likely include QBs like Shough, Ridder, and Penix Jr., plus others from recent drafts with high Combine performances, such as:
• Anthony Richardson (2023 Draft): Noted for athleticism (4.43 40-yard dash, 40.5” vertical), likely ~9.8+ RAS, top 20.
• Malik Willis (2022 Draft): Strong RAS noted, likely ~9.5+, top 50, due to speed and size similarities to Ridder.
• Justin Fields (2021 Draft): Elite speed (4.44 40-yard dash), likely ~9.6+ RAS, top 30.
• Top 50-100: Likely include QBs like Pickett, Perry, and McCown, plus others with solid but not elite athletic profiles, such as:
• Russell Wilson (2012 Draft): Noted as “average” athletically but with a 4.55 40-yard dash and good agility, likely ~9.0-9.3 RAS, top 100.
• Kyler Murray (2019 Draft): Smaller frame (5’10”, 207 lbs) but elite speed (4.3s 40-yard dash estimated), likely ~9.0+ RAS, top 100.
• Trey Lance (2021 Draft): Athletic but injury-prone, likely ~9.0 RAS, top 100.
Why a Full Top 100 Isn’t Feasible
• Data Gaps: The sources provide specific RAS scores for only a few QBs (e.g., Shough, Howard, Ridder, Penix Jr., Brady). Others are mentioned qualitatively (e.g., Newton, Culpepper) or not at all. The full 1,048-QB dataset isn’t publicly detailed in the provided references.
• Incomplete Testing: Many QBs skip Combine drills (e.g., Bryce Young in 2023), resulting in no RAS or partial scores, complicating rankings.

I blows my mind that some are so willing to just forget that Rattler is a second year pro in this system and Shough is a rookie who has been with the team for a whole 90 days.

I don’t understand why people are in such a rush to pick a side. Shough looks better to me personally, but it really makes no difference if the starting o line plays like they did yesterday.
Drew Brees, Tyler Shough, Spencer rattler, or whoever the next QB is would and will have no help if the line doesn’t play better.

i'm happy with both qb's so far. both are dependent upon success from the rest of the team and both have been very capable of making nice plays when given opportunities.

Tom Brady would've been winless with what Rattler had last year. Jesus Christ

Shough does have more upside, spencer is better currently imo

Ok…are you his love child or something? That’s all that I can figure. You’re completely impervious to his stats and results. I’ve never seen anyone defend a record like his as passionately as you do.
