"That's trailer trash! That's trailer park trash from Oklahoma!"
He's also blaming Shockey's lack of a father figure for acting that way.
I have a Shockey jersey, and I will be attending the Saints vs. Carolina game in the Dome. Should I wear the jersey and tape sucks below his name, or should i just give to goodwill?

I appreciate what Shockey did for the Saints during his time with the team - he helped them get to and win their first SB. He was obviously upset that he wasn't brought back and acted out. Doesn't really, to me, diminish his standing as a former Saint.

Shockey is a bitch. The Saints don't owe him anything. This is a business, and they did what was best for the organization.

Bobby's an a-hole hypocrite. Like he has room to talk. He F'n did the dirty bird in a Falcons uniform in the dome.

No doubt - he's houseboat trash from Cut Off. But people like him now because he speaks unintelligibly in favor of the Saints.

Didnt Jamal Anderson invent that in 98?

He didn't do that gay dance. He spread his arms out ( similiar looking to a plane or a soaring bird) after a td pass and ran up and down the dome turf

Boy, you guys really have a hard time letting former players go

Good god. Shockey leaving the field pissed and without shaking hands is a non-issue. I was grateful for Shock's tenure with us. He played an important role in our Super Bowl season. Get over it folks. What's funny is that many of you here are "whining" that he is a "whiney bitch". That takes the cake.
Thank you
It's fricking football. What do you think the players do on the field? They curse and talk shite to the other team any chance they can. I'm sure the Saints' players weren't saying anything back
And if we want to talk about bitch moves, we need to look at our own team, especially Roman Harper.
frickin Saintards never fail

Yeah it's a man's sport most of the other guys go hard during the game w/o going out of their way to be counts.

I wouldn't blame them, he was being a punk bitch.

By go hard to you mean a WR crying for a flag after every incompletion? Or a defender standing over a guy they just tackled? Or a WR celebrating every catch? Or a DLineman celebrating a sack with a choreographed dance?
The NLF is 75% douches. The Saints' have some. For every class act like Vilma and Brees there are 100s of Shockeys and Roman Harpers who think they are in the WWE.
It's commonplace these days. People who make a big deal of it are delusional.

This board, just like the Rant, is filled with homer pussies. Shockey is an extremely competitive dude. I didn't watch him or Newton leave the field. Whatever they did or didn't do is the least important thing I can imagine.

Former players seem to have a harder time letting the Saints go.

Him flicking off the sideline was pretty classless. I don't care if he didn't shake hands.
He was also giving the panther coaches Drews audible signals. Don't know if they were useful or not.
He also said after the game the panthers should have won.

So did Cam. What's your point? Steve Smith showed great sportsmanship after the game IMO.
Shockey knows ALL of these guys because he played with them for years. Cam is a rookie that doesn't know anyone on the Saints personally except rookies most likely...a little different if you ask me.

Celebrating during the game =\= whining before the game and being a complete pouty bitch after the game.

This.
Does he have no friends on the team? I can't see myself flicking off a bunch of guys that I won a super bowl with. Seems like a bitter man.
I've always liked shockey. He's the type of guy, where, if he was on your team, you loved him. If he wasn't, you hated him. But 2009 was special, for me, for the players, and for the entire city. For him to just throw all that out the window following a single touchdown in a regular season game just.. Well, it just left a bad taste in my mouth.
I still don't care that he didn't shake hands tho.

Epic. Fail. That's definitely not the same as going out of your way to disrespect the other team throughout the game.
